SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is one of the key objectives pursued by the CGU through the organisation of scientific debates and the promotion of good practices implemented by its member institutions.
This initiative is embedded in the CGU Strategic Plan 2024–2027, Axis 6, and is aligned with the network’s internal policies as well as with European directives on sustainability and sustainable growth.
SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS
COMPOSTELA CONNECTION ON SUSTAINABILITY
Each year, within the framework of the General Assembly, an expert meeting is held to address a range of topics related to sustainability at CGU member universities.
The first session, held in 2025 with the valuable collaboration of the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), addressed key issues such as the concept of sustainability as applied to universities and showcased emblematic examples of sustainable practices at both educational and operational levels.
