The Universities for Virtual Exchange network

The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) conceived the Universities for Virtual Exchange network with the purpose of ensuring the implementation of the Programme for the Development of Virtual Exchange VE-COIL. For this reason, the network is made up of those universities that are committed to bringing telecollaboration closer to their community, through virtual exchange or collaborative online international learning projects.

Joining the Universities for Virtual Exchange network

The governing bodies of the CGU’s member universities should contact the Executive Secretariat to request the integration of their institution into the Universities for Virtual Exchange network.

Once their affiliation has been confirmed, these universities appoint a Programme for the Development of Virtual Exchange VE-COIL coordinator at their institution. This VE-COIL delegate facilitates the dissemination of information related to the initiative among his/her university community, supports the teaching staff during their attendance to the training courses and workshops, and encourages their participation in the University teachers search programme for telecollaboration.
