The Masaryk University presents a new edition of its summer school focused on Czech culture and history, offering financial support for international participants.
The Masaryk University will host the Czech Heritage Summer School from 22 June to 11 July 2026, a programme designed especially for people of Czech descent living abroad, as well as for anyone interested in exploring the country’s culture.
The programme combines academic learning with hands-on experiences, including language classes, lectures on Czech history, art, society, geography, and genealogy, as well as cultural excursions in Brno, one of the country’s leading student cities.
Participants of Czech origin may apply for scholarships of up to €2,000, making the programme more accessible to international students.
The initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties with Czech communities abroad and expand its international outreach following previous successful editions.
