The Compostela Group of Universities brings this mobility initiative back to its origins, promoting in situ exchanges between administrative staff of universities in Europe and America in its 2022 call.

The Stella for Staff programme of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) is resuming its intercontinental placements in the framework of its 2022 call. Thus, it returns to its essence, as it was created to promote exchanges between the administrative services of the higher education institutions affiliated with the network.

Stella for Staff fosters the exchange of best practices and knowledge between the administrative staff of the CGU’s member universities and the Consortium for North American Higher Education Collaboration (CONAHEC). During these short stays developed within the programme, staff can acquire new skills and get in touch with other cultures.

Since last week, the various departments of the universities affiliated with both networks can submit their placement offer. They have to be submitted in English through the electronic form published on the Stella for Staff’s programme website, which can be submitted until 22 April 2022 (12:00 PM GMT – noon). Before doing so, it is recommended to read the guidelines for the call and the guide of the placement offer form.

After the deadline for the submission of placement offers, as specified in the guidelines for the call, the period for sending the applications from administrative staff will be opened and an electronic form will be made available for this purpose. Before proceeding, workers are also invited to review the guidelines in order to attach all the necessary documentation. They will have until 27 May 2022 (12:00 PM GMT – noon) to do so.

Stella for Staff will award 16,000 euros in individual grants

The financial allocation for the 2022 call of the programme is 16,000 euros, which will be distributed through individual grants until the budget is exhausted. These grants, which are restricted to the administrative staff of the CGU’s member universities, will have a financial endowment of 1,000 euros each.
