CAMIÑOLAB II
Through ‘CAMIÑOLAB II. A space for the sustainable revitalisation of the Jacobean cultural heritage’, the scientific committee set up as a result of the CAMIÑOLAB project continued its research on Jacobean heritage. In this second phase, they went deeper into the cataloguing and recognition of the material and immaterial heritage of the Camino de Santiago.
CAMIÑOLAB II actions were carried out from 15 March to 31 October 2022. These included tools for digital and audiovisual dissemination of the research, as well as knowledge transfer in the management of the cultural heritage of the pilgrimage route.

Project actions
Organisation of the training
The director of the scientific committee coordinated the telematic meetings in which the academic programme of the courses was defined, the Galician cultural heritage to be discovered was determined and the recognition by the University of Santiago de Compostela was managed.
Participation in specialised forums
The CAMIÑOLAB II management disseminated its research work and identified opportunities for collaboration at events such as the VII General Assembly of the Asociación de Municipios del Camino de Santiago and the 11th Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Annual Advisory Forum. He also met with the Directorate General for Culture of the Organisation of Ibero-American States and the Autonomous University of Zacatecas ‘Francisco García Salinas’ in Mexico.
Final meeting
The scientific committee met on 27-29 September 2022 in Santiago de Compostela with the aim of coordinating actions to disseminate the results of the project. In addition to outlining new avenues of collaboration and future projection of the initiative.
Desk research
The scientific committee of the project collected the material of its research on the cultural heritage of the Camino de Santiago, in order to publish with Atelier a second work disseminating these results.

University course
The university course ‘CAMIÑOLAB: Law and the Camino de Santiago‘ was held from 27 to 29 September 2022 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Santiago de Compostela. It was aimed at public administration staff and open to all those interested in the legal aspects of the pilgrimage route.

The video summarising the actions carried out during the CAMIÑOLAB II project is available on the CAMIÑOLAB observatory website. This audiovisual material will soon be subtitled in English.
