The representatives of the Compostela Group of Universities and the Autonomous University of Zacatecas discuss possible lines of collaboration on cultural routes and itineraries during the meeting.
The member of the Executive Committee of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) Manuel Freire-Garabal Núñez and the professor of the Master’s and Doctorate in History of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas ‘Francisco García Salinas’ José Francisco Guzmán Gutiérrez held a meeting yesterday in the office of the Executive Secretariat of the association of public benefit. They discussed issues such as the affiliation of the higher education institution to the university network and the establishment of cooperation channels in relation to cultural routes and itineraries in Europe and Ibero-America.
Besides, opportunities for collaboration were explored around the CAMIÑOLAB II project. An initiative funded by the Axencia Turismo de Galicia in the framework of a call for subsidies aimed at entities whose purpose is the promotion of the Camino de Santiago and its pilgrimage.
