The Compostela Group of Universities has received 30 candidatures for the current edition of the activity, thus surpassing the 25 applications submitted for the 2020 call.
The members of the research teams of the network’s member universities submitted 30 candidatures for the VI Research Pitches Contest of the Compostela Group of Universities (GCU).
The number of applications received makes this edition the most successful of the initiative since its launch, improving the results of the call with the highest participation so far, that of 2020 with 25 pitches.
Candidatures for the 2022 edition come from ten higher education institutions affiliated with the CGU and based in Spain, Poland and Portugal. Specifically, from the universities Jaume I, Technical of Madrid, Lleida, Basque Country, Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Minho, Adam Mickiewicz and Seville.
The deadline for submitting applications was 8 April 2022 and after reviewing the documentation provided, participants had a period of 10 working days to remedy any shortcomings.
The Compostela Group of Universities will soon prepare the dossier so that the jury members of the VI Research Pitches Contest can issue a decision. The jury’s decision and the announcement of the winners of this competition will be unveiled in June.
