The Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair focuses its 2023 call on engineering

This chair is funded by CETYS University in the amount of 6,000 US dollars. 

The Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair focuses this year’s call on the areas of knowledge linked to the College of Engineering of the Mexican higher education institution. Specifically, those related to cybersecurity, the internet of things, industry 4.0, digital transformation, software development, information technologies, cloud computing, satellites, telecommunications, electromobility, infrastructure for electric cars, aerospace, renewable energies, automation and robotics.

Faculty and research staff linked to one or several of these fields of knowledge, who have a stable and current employment relationship with a member university of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), may submit their applications to the call. To do so, they must fill in the electronic form that they will find in the Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair 2023 section of the CGU’s website. The candidature must be completed online and in English by 30 April 2023 (12:00 PM – noon. Mainland Spain time zone) to be accepted.

After the deadline for the submission of applications, a selection committee composed of two experts in these areas of knowledge will assess the merits accredited in them. In this regard, the Compostela Group of Universities and CETYS University will appoint their representatives to this body.

This commission will select the person who will carry out a mobility of 15 calendar days to the College of Engineering of the Mexican higher education institution. This person will receive financial support of 6,000 US dollars, as a token honorarium, and to help cover travel, accommodation and living expenses at the destination.
