The Compostela Group of Universities launches 2019 call of its Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiative, addressed to professors of the Higher Education institutions that are members of the network.

This year the COIL initiative is divided into two calls, spring and autumn 2020. The virtual exchanges of the spring call will be carried out between January and May, while the autumn ones will take place between August and December.

The professors interested in participating should register using the on the COIL initiative page. To participate in the autumn call they must complete this step by 11th September 2019 and for spring by 12th February 2020.

Once the information provided in the form has been analysed, the coordination of the programme will be responsible for matching the pairs that will carry out the virtual exchanges. Then, they will send the participants a proposal for collaboration, which must be accepted by both parties before taking the next step. In the final stage of this process, the professors participating in the exchange will initiate contacts to define the content and structure of the course.

After the closure of the calls, the CGU will publish on its website a document on the virtual exchanges, containing information about the topics of the courses and the participating universities and students.
