The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) has received an invitation to take part in the FAUBAI 2026 Annual Conference, to be held in Florianópolis, Brazil from 11 to 15 April 2026, including a plenary session on the role of university networks in internationalisation.
FAUBAI – Brazilian Association for International Education, a leading association in higher education internationalisation in Brazil, has extended an invitation to the CGU for its 2026 conference, themed “Internationalisation for a Multipolar World.” The theme invites reflection on the evolving global landscape of academic cooperation in a context marked by diverse regional priorities and shared responsibilities.
The invitation proposes CGU’s involvement in a plenary session conceived as a moderated dialogue, in which representatives of international university networks will offer brief introductory remarks and engage in discussion on issues such as mutual cooperation, ethics, and new collaborative models in internationalisation. This exploratory participation highlights the CGU’s standing as an academic actor in global higher education cooperation.
The FAUBAI 2026 Conference will bring together higher education professionals and international education stakeholders to explore forward-looking approaches to internationalisation and collaborative practice.
