University course ‘CAMIÑOLAB: Law and Camino de Santiago’

The university course ‘CAMIÑOLAB: Law and Camino de Santiago’ is part of the CamiñoLab II project, which is funded by the Axencia Turismo de Galicia.

The academic head of the course is the executive secretary of the Compostela Group of Universities and Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela, María Teresa Carballeira Rivera.

Funding

The university course ‘CAMIÑOLAB: Law and Camino de Santiago’ is organised by the Compostela Group of Universities.

This initiative is funded by the Tourism Agency of Galicia in the framework of the 2022 call for subsidies to associations of friends of the Camino de Santiago and other entities whose purpose is the promotion of the Camino de Santiago and its pilgrimage.

Target group

The training is aimed at public administration staff and all those interested in the legal aspects of the Camino de Santiago.

Dates and venue

The university course will take place from 27 to 29 September 2022 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Santiago de Compostela. Specifically, the boardroom will be the space that will host the academic activities during those days.

Deadlines

  • 20 September 2022. Deadline for enrolment for the university postgraduate diploma
  • 26 September 2022. Registration deadline for attendance until the full capacity of the venue is reached.

University posgraduate diploma

  • The organisation has reserved 20 places for those interested in obtaining the university postgraduate diploma ‘CAMIÑOLAB: Law and the Camino de Santiago‘, in the form of lifelong education, issued by the University of Santiago de Compostela. These places will be allocated in order of registration and the deadline for registration is 26 September 2022.
  • The course is recognised with three credits.
  • The registration fee for the diploma is 60 euros.
