History and objectives

The origin in time and space of the La Salle University dates back to the XVII Century in France where Juan Bautista De La Salle founded the Institute of the Brothers of Christian Schools to provide Christian education, school and above all human education to children and young people who are disadvantaged by society of that time.

The La Salle Morelia University forms professionals who are distinguished by their competence and high sense of social responsibility. Its educational model is based on comprehensive training, with emphasis on the promotion and generation of knowledge and in promoting the development of culture in its different dimensions, to contribute to the solution of problems and the attention of the main needs of their environment.

The governing body of Universidad La Salle Morelia A.C. is the Government Adviser.
