OBJECTIVES

To contribute to the achievement of the goals set by the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) in terms of initiative, sustainability, strategy, growth, communication and future in the 2024-2027 horizon of the network.

CONTENT OF THE PROJECT

Motivation

  • Contribute to generating sustainable transformation in the digital, environmental, outreach, social responsibility, education and research sectors of the identified non-associated countries.
  • Promote institutional and interpersonal networking through university cooperation for mobility, seeking greater joint impact and intensifying collaboration in the field of circular mobility.
  • Foster strategic investment for a fair, inclusive, and more human-centred green and digital transition.
  • Contribute to building closer, more interconnected and modernised socio-political and economic bridges, focused on people and based on lessons learned, in order to develop a new Agenda for Relations.

Action

  • Intervention in the process of change towards regional integration and the creation of ties between partner countries in Region 10 and Europe.
  • Action in Region 10 to showcase European identity and the common values we share, fostering the reorientation of its social development policies.
  • Contribution to the development of agreements between Europe and the countries of Region 10 to promote genuine sustainable growth in their communities.

Special efforts

  • Increase the mobility of undergraduate and postgraduate students and doctoral candidates, and attract international talent.
  • Allocate a greater share of institutional resources to provide suitable structures and the necessary support for mobility.
  • Enhance inclusive social responsibility policies.
  • Adopt more dynamic regulatory measures (frameworks for cooperation and recognition).
  • Introduce virtual mobility components to complement international mobility, implementing measures for digital transition and internationalisation at home, and enhancing online learning resources.

Call for applications

1. From September 2025 to December 2026

Modality

In-person mobility (1 month) with virtual component (1 month, continuously or on alternate days within the eligible period of each call).

Academic areas of relevance for mobility

Fields of study related to New and Emerging Technologies; Earth, Environment and Renewable Energies; Social Responsibility; and, International Politics.

Inclusion indicators

Mobility will be promoted in an inclusive manner, with particular attention to the following sectors:

  • Women in under-represented academic areas -New and Emerging Technologies-.
  • Vulnerable students or students at risk of exclusion.
  • Students from areas declared to be in an environmental emergency.
  • Students from areas of armed conflict or socio-political repression.
  • Students with special needs with a minimum recognised disability of 33%.
    * Students with special needs may be accompanied by a family member during their mobility.
    * The partner institutions of the project are required to appoint a technical coordinator and a coordinator specialised in social responsibility and mentoring.
