Three pitches addressing the issue of the inappropriate use of mobile devices, children’s sense of identity in the age of extended reality, and the legal challenges of occupational health in a digitalized market stood out in the tenth edition of the Research Pitches Contest for the quality and clarity of their presentations and the enthusiasm shown in capturing the audience’s attention. The young winners belong to research groups at the University of León and the University of Santiago de Compostela. Congratulations to all three! | Tres pitches sobre la problemática del uso inadecuado de dispositivos móviles, el sentido de identidad de los niños en la era de la realidad extendida y los desafíos legales de la salud ocupacional en un mercado digitalizado han destacado en la décima edición del Concurso de Pitches de Investigación por la calidad y claridad de su exposición y el entusiasmo mostrado para captar la atención del público. Los jóvenes ganadores pertenecen a grupos de investigación de la Universidad de León y de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. ¡Enhorabuena a los tres!

Staff from the University of Vigo (Spain), the University of Monterrey (Mexico), and University La Salle Bajío (Mexico) have been selected as the beneficiaries or alternates to carry out a mobility programme focused on learning best practices and developing professionally in departments involved in international relations, gender equality, and artistic and cultural development. They may take part in the mobility between July and December of this year. | Personal de la Universidad de Vigo (España), la Universidad de Monterrey (México) y la Universidad La Salle Bajío (México) ha sido seleccionado como beneficiario o suplente para realizar una movilidad orientada al aprendizaje de buenas prácticas y al desarrollo profesional en departamentos vinculados a las relaciones internacionales, la igualdad entre personas y el desarrollo artístico y cultural. Podrán disfrutar de la movilidad entre julio y diciembre de este año.

Young people with studies in health, marketing, international relations, law, digitalization, and social, cultural, and human development from the Universidad del Pacífico (Peru), the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), and the University of Seville (Spain) have been selected as beneficiaries or alternates of the mobility programme to carry out internships in related departments. This year, for the first time, a joint selection method has been implemented with the host departments to identify the best match between profiles. | Jóvenes con estudios en salud, marketing, relaciones internacionales, derecho, digitalización y desarrollo social, cultural y humano de la Universidad del Pacífico (Perú), la Universidad de Guadalajara (México) y la Universidad de Sevilla (España) han sido seleccionados como personas beneficiarias o suplentes del programa de movilidad para realizar prácticas en departamentos afines. Este año, por primera vez, se ha aplicado un método de selección compartido con los departamentos anfitriones para identificar la mejor adecuación de los perfiles.

Participants in the University Walking Community 2026 programme are eligible for UNESCO recognition upon completing their volunteer experience on the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Aragón (Spain). The programme has been incorporated into the international initiative World Heritage Volunteers – Working on the Future, part of the World Heritage Education Programme, due to its ability to raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of protecting, conserving, and promoting culture and positive values.
| Los participantes del programa University Walking Community 2026 optan a un reconocimiento de la UNESCO al finalizar su experiencia como voluntarios en el Camino de Santiago a su paso por Aragón (España). El programa ha sido incorporado a la iniciativa internacional World Heritage Volunteers – Working on the Future, del Programa de Educación sobre el Patrimonio Mundial, por su capacidad para sensibilizar a las nuevas generaciones sobre la importancia de proteger, conservar y promover la cultura y los buenos valores.

The commitment to international academic cooperation and social inclusion shown by the universities of the Erasmus+ KA130‑HED Consortium make it possible to mobilize internship students from STEM fields at universities in Mexico and El Salvador to Spain. The funding, managed by the host institutions, includes support for green travel and a daily individual allowance, co‑financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme.
| El compromiso con la cooperación académica internacional y la inclusión social de las universidades del Consorcio Erasmus+ KA130‑HED permiten movilizar a estudiantes en prácticas de áreas STEM de universidades de México y El Salvador hacia España. La financiación, gestionada por las instituciones de acogida, incluye ayudas para viaje ecológico y apoyo individual diario, cofinanciadas por el Programa Erasmus+ de la Unión Europea.
