History and objectives

University Business Academy in Novi Sad was the first privately owned university, which received official recognition and got accredited in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The University was established in 2000 with the aim to educate top quality young professionals in the field of law and economics in the years of accelerated reconstruction of domestic economy and judicial system. Our main goal has been to create new generations of professionals capable of applying the acquired knowledge and being able to independently solve complex problems and tasks, which Serbian economy and society is facing in the coming period.

Since the day of its establishment until the present day, the University has followed trends in the development of Higher Education and become a higher education institution that provides a wide and flexible range of quality study programs, integrating scientific research and educational service and always driven by the needs of our immediate users and socio-economic environment.

Collaboration with industry and international cooperation are two important factors in the development of the University and its faculties. Therefore, the Center for International Cooperation has been stablished at the level of the University Business Academy. Its main objective its internationalization: realization of joint projects and mobility of students and teacher staff. A large number of cooperation agreements have already been signed with the higher education institutions from other European countries. In this way, University Business Academy in Novi Sad achieves international recognition for education and scientific work and its diplomas are easily comparable and recognized across borders.

The University is actively’ participating in educational and research programs of the National Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development as well as in European Union funded programs (Jean Monet, Erasmus, IPA PROJECT etc.).
