The Systems Engineering Degree of the University of Lima presents the IV International Systems Engineering Congress ‘Digital Society: challenges and opportunities of a new reality’, which will be held virtually from 26 to 28 October 2021.

The aim of the fourth edition of the International Systems Engineering Congress (in Spanish Congreso Internacional de Ingeniería de Sistemas, CIIS) is to build a participative and international space in which to address issues related to the digital society. Specifically, its four thematic axes are information systems, software engineering, computer sciences and information technologies. Through its programme of activities, the event will promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences and research.

In the current context of a health emergency, the CIIS focuses on the digital society, on the challenges and opportunities that this new reality poses. Thus, the congress will disseminate the results of the work of Peruvian and international researchers who stand out for their creativity and innovation. Moreover, prominent speakers will share their views on trends and advances in the aforementioned thematic areas.

Participation in the IV International Systems Engineering Congress is free of charge but subject to capacity. The organisers of the event will publish the registration form soon.

The call for research papers and posters is open

The CIIS committee encourages the academic and scientific community to submit papers and posters related to the following thematic areas: information systems, software engineering, computer sciences and information technologies. The deadline for receipt of the works will remain open until 31 July 2021.

Subsequently, the proposals received will be evaluated under blind peer review by this committee.
