The Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC) announces the celebration of its International Staff Week from 17 to 21 June 2024 under the title “Higher Education in the Dominican Republic: A Comprehensive Approach Aligned with Erasmus+ Priorities”, and especially designed for members of the associated university academic and administrative staff.
The International Staff Week of the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo-INTEC is scheduled to take place from 17 to 21 June 2024 in the Dominican city of Santo Domingo, with the aim of providing a number of valuable opportunities, including:
- Gaining knowledge about Higher Education in the Dominican Republic.
- Understand the role and results of the alignment of Higher Education with the Erasmus+ Priorities.
- Immerse in the history and culture of the Dominican Republic.
- Exchange best practices and cooperation experiences among participants.
- Attend guest lectures addressed to students.
Registration
Interested university staff have until 24 May 2024 to register. Once the application is completed, the INTEC team will send registrants an email with the steps to follow to finalise the registration process.
Registration fees for the event are €130 (or US$145) per participant. For those who need to apply for a visa, it is recommended to start the process as early as possible to ensure a timely processing. In addition, letters of invitation will be issued by INTEC to those who need them for visa purposes.
Participants are expected to cover their expenses with the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution.
