The Compostela Group of Universities opts for in-person stays in the 2022 call of the Stella Junior programme, aimed at the member universities of the network and their students.
The Stella Junior programme of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) promotes in-person placements in the departments of its member universities in the framework of its 2022 call. Thus, it is committed to recovering the mobility modality that fostered this activity since its launch in 2011.
Stella Junior allows the CGU member universities to host students from other institutions in the network in their departments for training placements. During mobility, students not only broaden their education but also come into contact with other cultures and develop skills that can be useful for their entry into the labour market.
This week the CGU opened the call for the departments of the network universities to submit their offers of mobility placements. These should be forwarded in English using the electronic form available on the Stella Junior programme website. Before filling in this form, applicants are advised to read the guidelines for the call and the guide to the placement offer form. The deadline for submission is 1 April 2022 (12:00 PM GMT).
Once the placement offers have been published on the Stella Junior website, according to the terms set out in guidelines for the call, the period for submission of student applications will start and the electronic application form will be published. Before completing their application, students are also advised to review the guidelines, in order to attach all the required documentation. They will have until 11 May 2022 (12:00 PM GMT) to do so.
The Stella Junior programme increases the number of grants
The financial allocation for the 2022 call of the programme is 4,000 euros, which will be distributed through individual grants until the budget is exhausted. The grants for the in-person modality will have a financial endowment of 400 euros each, which allows moving from six grants in previous calls to ten in the current one, based on data from the in situ stays. As usual, the Stella Junior grant shall be compatible with any other mobility grant unless stated otherwise by others.
