The CGU and CETYS University launch the first call of their chair

The purpose of the Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair is to promote the internationalisation, mobility and exchange of faculty members and researchers, through an annual call for a visiting lecturer position at the Mexican institution. 

The first call of the Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair was published today on the website of our university network. The recipient of the chair will carry out a 15-day stay as a visiting professor at the College of Business Administration of CETYS University.

This call is open to faculty members and researchers with a stable and current working relationship with a Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) member university. Each year the chair will focus on specific areas of knowledge, this year being selected those related to teaching in the College of Business Administration of the Mexican higher education institution.

The Compostela Group of Universities-CETYS Chair is funded by CETYS University for 6,000 US dollars. This includes 1,000 dollars as a token honorarium for the beneficiary and a maximum of 5,000 dollars to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses at the destination.

Those interested in applying to the call have until 17 April 2022 to do so, through the online application form, which can be found on the mobility initiative page on the CGU’s website. This form must be completed online and in English, for the application to be accepted. Moreover, it must be accompanied by the documentation detailed in the guidelines of the call.

A selection committee composed of two experts in these areas of knowledge, appointed by CETYS University and CGU, will evaluate the applications submitted. To do so, they will be guided by the criteria detailed in the guidelines in the section related to assessing merits.
