The General Council of the Compostela Group of Universities, composed of representatives of the full members of the network, votes in favour of the continuity of President Marek Kręglewski in the elections held in Guadalajara (Mexico).

As specified in the statutes of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), the president of the CGU is elected “for a period of four years by a two-thirds majority of the universities present at the vote”. At the ordinary meeting of the General Council of the Compostela Group of Universities, which took place today at the University of Guadalajara, 28 of the 29 full members present voted in favour of re-election, while one of them cast a blank vote. Thus, the members renewed their confidence in President Marek Kręglewski, full professor of the Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland), and the members of its Executive Committee for the next period 2019-2023.
