This body will review the applications submitted by the students from the member universities of the network for the 2022 call of the mobility programme.

The Compostela Group of Universities has published today on the website of the Stella Junior programme the list of academic staff that make up the selection committee for the 2022 call of this activity. Its members will be in charge of evaluating the students’ applications and designate those who will receive a grant to support a training stay in a member university of the network.

As in previous editions, this body is led by the coordinator of Stella Junior and Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations and Internationalisation of the University of Seville, Carmen Vargas. The Dean for International Affairs for CETYS University System, Scott Venezia Corral, and professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the University of Lódz, Tomasz Domański, are members too.

This selection committee will review the 33 applications submitted by students from ten higher education institutions affiliated with the CGU. Specifically, from the universities of A Coruña, Cadiz, Jaume I, La Laguna, Leon, Masaryk, Monterrey, Peruvian of Applied Sciences, Technical of Madrid Madrid and Seville.

In their analysis of the applications, they will take into account the evaluation criteria set out in the guidelines for the 2022 call of Stella Junior. Criteria include the adaptation of the curricular profile to the requested placement offer, the average grade of the academic transcript and not having received a grant in the last two editions of the programme. Likewise, priority will be given to international and intercontinental mobility and foster geographical and university distribution.
