The Compostela Group of Universities opened today the registration period for the three calls of the online course Creating a professional website, which will allow trainees to acquire the essential knowledge and skills to develop their pages.

The students of the course will learn from scratch the process of creating a professional website, using as main tools the content management system WordPress and the visual builder of pages Divi. At the end of the course, they will have their own website and the technical skills required to keep it up to date by generating new content. Besides, they will acquire essential knowledge of graphic design, which will enable them to give it a corporate identity.

In this course, learning is based on a teaching model that combines academic and practical training, so that students will receive it through video tutorials of free disposal and live-streaming classes, in which the trainer will resolve queries and doubts. They will then work individually on their projects, in which they will have the constant support of the trainer and the feedback of their colleagues in the virtual classroom forum.

The language used in the teaching will be mainly Spanish, although in the third call there is the possibility of following the course in English, so all materials will be translated into this language.

As for the evaluation, to successfully complete the course, the students must pass the online tests of each training module and create a functional web space. Passing this evaluation will entitle them to obtain the diploma of training and academic innovation “Creation and development of a professional website”, issued by the Compostela Group of Universities.

Registration in the course

The registration process for the different calls for training starts today, 8 April, and will end on 27 May. This registration must be done through the electronic form available on the page of the online course Creating a professional website, where these deadlines are detailed.
